Halcyon offers a full range of grief support services to help you explore and understand your loss, including individual counseling, children and teen support, grief support groups and memorial services.

Grief Support Counseling

Halcyon Hospice & Palliative Care recognizes that people grieve in different and uniquely personal ways. Whether a child or adult, our grief counselors are trained to understand what you are going through and can help you focus on what matters most to you.

If you are interested in grief counseling, please call us at 720-325-2987 or email us at griefsupport@halcyonhospice.org.

Individual & Family Grief Counseling

Our Grief Support program provides individual and family counseling to help those who have experienced the death of a loved one and who may need support or guidance in dealing with the grief associated with that loss.

Children & Teens Grief Counseling

Grieving the loss of a loved one is difficult, especially for a child. Bereavement counselors provide individual and family counseling to help children who have experienced the death of a sibling, parent, grandparent, friend or other loved one and who may need support or guidance in dealing with the grief.

Counseling Forms

Please fill out the appropriate Intake Form (Adult or Child/Teen) along with the Disclosure Statement/HIPAA Form and bring to your first counseling support appointment.

Grief Support Groups

Although grieving is very much a personal experience, no one should grieve alone. Halcyon Hospice & Palliative Care offers numerous support groups to give clients the opportunity to share their grief experience and find comfort in others who have gone through loss.  Support groups provide a safe place to explore and express your grief in a comfortable setting and connect with others who have experienced loss.

  • My grief counselor provided a safe and caring reflection which lead to trust. I was free to explore every aspect of my grief as well as life how to manage my grief and make decisions about my life issues.
